The Catering Assistant Supervisor supports the catering manager in planning, coordinating, and supervising food service operations for events, meetings, and group functions in Makkah’s hospitality venues. The role involves supervising catering staff, ensuring the quality and timely delivery of meals, and overseeing setup and breakdown of service areas.
This position also requires assisting with inventory management, hygiene compliance, and client communication to guarantee a high level of service. The assistant supervisor ensures smooth execution of catering tasks and addresses any operational issues promptly. The role demands a blend of leadership, hospitality knowledge, and organizational ability.

Job Requirement:

Qualified candidates should have practical experience in food service or hospitality roles.
Requirements include:
• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training is preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in catering or banquet services
• Familiarity with food handling, safety, and hygiene practices
• Strong leadership and team supervision capabilities
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
