We are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial Commercial Honey Producer to lead honey production operations in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role involves managing multiple beehives, ensuring high-quality honey yield, and overseeing the entire process from hive management to extraction, packaging, and market distribution.
Key responsibilities include maintaining colony health, supervising seasonal hive activities, implementing disease and pest control strategies, and optimizing honey production based on local flowering patterns. The Honey Producer will also ensure compliance with food safety standards, monitor environmental factors impacting productivity, and maintain accurate production records.
In addition to technical responsibilities, the role may include managing a team of apiary workers, liaising with distributors, and exploring opportunities for product diversification such as beeswax, royal jelly, or propolis.
The ideal candidate should have solid apiculture experience, knowledge of commercial honey production practices, and an understanding of market trends within Saudi Arabia’s agriculture sector.
