Key responsibilities include conducting laboratory and field experiments, analyzing plant-soil-water interactions, and collaborating with agronomists, geneticists, and agricultural engineers to develop improved crop varieties. The role also involves monitoring plant diseases, pests, and environmental stressors, and providing scientific recommendations to enhance crop yield and quality.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and innovative Plant Biologist to support advanced research and practical applications in plant science within the agricultural sector of Riyadh. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in plant physiology, genetics, and ecology, and be prepared to work in both laboratory and field environments.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Plant Biology, Botany, Agricultural Science, or related field (Master’s or PhD preferred)
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in plant research, agricultural development, or crop improvement
Proven expertise in plant physiology, genetics, or biotechnology
Experience conducting lab and field research, including data collection, analysis, and reporting
Familiarity with regional crops and the challenges of arid agriculture
Ability to design experiments and use analytical tools such as SPSS, R, or GIS software
Knowledge of plant diseases, pest management, and environmental stress responses
Publication record or experience contributing to scientific journals is a plus
Additional Requirements:
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus
Capacity to work independently and collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams

Willingness to travel locally for fieldwork or collaborative projects
