Job Description:
We are hiring an Automation Engineer in Barcelona to lead industrial automation initiatives for smart production lines and process controls. This role includes programming PLCs, integrating SCADA systems, and configuring sensors for efficient and accurate automation flows.
You will design and implement automation strategies that improve production throughput, reduce manual intervention, and ensure consistent output quality. The role requires troubleshooting machine interfaces and working closely with production and maintenance teams.
This is a dynamic environment offering the opportunity to work with Industry 4.0 tools and IoT-enabled systems.
Job Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Automation Engineering is required. Experience with PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Schneider) and HMI/SCADA systems is a must.
Candidates should understand PID control, motor drives, and signal processing. Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, or OPC-UA is essential.
Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and commissioning is important. Applicants should be methodical, safety-conscious, and have good problem-solving abilities.
You must be legally authorized to work in Spain. Strong written and verbal communication skills in Spanish or English are a plus.
