Job Description:
We are hiring a Cargo Operations Handler for our cargo terminal operations in Madrid. Your responsibilities include receiving, checking, and recording shipments, ensuring compliance with cargo handling protocols, and preparing items for storage or dispatch. You will assist with cargo consolidation and support inspection and documentation.
You will also operate warehouse machinery, update internal systems, and ensure proper cargo stacking and labeling. Coordination with customs teams and truckers will be required regularly.
Job Requirement:
Applicants must have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in air or ground cargo operations. Knowledge of cargo manifests, documentation, and handling procedures is expected. You should be able to use barcode scanners and follow SOPs.
Spanish fluency is essential; English is helpful for paperwork and communication with third-party partners. Physical strength, alertness, and knowledge of cargo safety are required. Experience with international shipments or hazardous cargo is an advantage.
