Job Description:
We are seeking a City Taxi Driver to provide reliable and courteous passenger transport services throughout Barcelona. You will pick up passengers via street hail or dispatch, navigate urban routes efficiently, and ensure high service quality day and night. Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and fare accuracy is critical, and adherence to city licensing regulations is mandatory.
Your role includes understanding city fare tariffs, managing cash and card payments, assisting passengers with luggage, and offering friendly customer interactions. You will handle the taxi license documentation, keep driving logs, and follow safety and traffic regulations to ensure passenger comfort and timely arrival.
Job Requirement:
We are looking for applicants holding a valid Barcelona taxi license, a clean driving record, and familiarity with city traffic patterns and major destinations. Minimum 1–2 years of urban driving experience is required. Spanish fluency is essential; basic English for tourist communication is a plus.
You should be punctual, courteous, and physically able to handle moderate physical tasks such as luggage lifting. Proficiency with GPS systems and mobile dispatch apps is preferred. Professional attire and a positive attitude toward passenger service are expected.
