Job Description:
We are looking for a Ceramics Kiln Technician in Madrid to operate and monitor kilns used in the firing of ceramic products. You will manage temperature cycles, load and unload wares, and ensure even heat distribution.
Tasks include setting kiln programs, inspecting glaze finishes, maintaining kiln furniture, and cleaning burners. You’ll also handle firing schedules and document results.
The role is critical to ensuring the strength and appearance of finished ceramic items.
Job Requirement:
Candidates should have experience working with kilns or furnaces, particularly in a ceramics or pottery environment.
Knowledge of temperature programming, thermocouple readings, and ceramic properties is essential.
You must be physically fit and comfortable working in heated environments.
A diploma in ceramic engineering or equivalent experience is advantageous.
