Job Description: Summary: We are currently seeking an experienced Acoustic Consultant to join our team in Dubai. As an Acoustic Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and solutions related to sound and vibration control in the electrical and electronics industry. You will work closely with clients and stakeholders to assess, design, and implement acoustic solutions that meet regulatory requirements and ensure optimal acoustic performance. The ideal candidate has a strong background in acoustics, a deep understanding of electrical and electronic systems, and a passion for delivering high-quality acoustic outcomes. Responsibilities: Conducting site visits and assessments to evaluate acoustic requirements and identify noise and vibration sources. Analyzing and interpreting acoustic data and measurements using specialized equipment and software. Collaborating with clients and stakeholders to develop acoustic design criteria and objectives. Designing and implementing acoustic solutions for electrical and electronic systems, including soundproofing, noise control, and vibration isolation measures. Providing technical guidance and recommendations for acoustic materials, equipment, and systems. Conducting noise impact assessments and predicting noise levels using modeling software. Developing and reviewing acoustic design specifications, drawings, and reports. Conducting acoustic testing and verification to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and project requirements. Advising clients on the selection and placement of acoustic equipment and systems. Staying updated with industry standards, regulations, and advancements in acoustic technology.
Job Requirement: Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Acoustics, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as an Acoustic Consultant or a similar role. Strong knowledge of acoustics principles, standards, and regulations. Familiarity with electrical and electronic systems and their acoustic characteristics. Proficiency in acoustic measurement and modeling software. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and presentation abilities. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Membership in professional organizations such as the Institute of Acoustics (IOA) is preferred.
