Job Description: Summary: We are currently seeking a skilled Broadcast Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. As a Broadcast Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of broadcast equipment and systems. You will ensure the smooth operation of broadcasting workflows and troubleshoot technical issues as they arise. The ideal candidate has a strong background in electrical and electronics engineering, expertise in broadcast technologies, and a passion for delivering high-quality broadcasting experiences. Responsibilities: Designing and implementing broadcast systems, including audio and video equipment, transmission systems, and control systems. Installing and configuring broadcast equipment, ensuring proper functionality and compatibility. Operating and monitoring broadcasting workflows to ensure quality and adherence to schedules. Troubleshooting technical issues and conducting repairs or maintenance as required. Collaborating with broadcast production teams to ensure seamless integration of equipment and systems. Testing and calibrating broadcasting equipment to ensure optimal performance. Managing signal distribution and transmission, including encoding, decoding, and multiplexing. Keeping up-to-date with emerging broadcast technologies and recommending upgrades or enhancements. Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, including content quality and broadcast licensing requirements. Documenting procedures, creating technical reports, and providing training and support to broadcast operators.
Job Requirement: Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Broadcast Engineer or a similar role in the broadcasting industry. Strong knowledge of broadcast equipment, systems, and workflows. Proficiency in broadcast technologies, including audio and video processing, transmission, and compression. Familiarity with broadcast automation systems and software. Understanding of broadcast signal flow and signal management. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Effective communication and collaboration skills. Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic broadcast environment.
