Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Agricultural Irrigation Engineer to join our agribusiness team in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining efficient irrigation systems to support sustainable crop production in arid environments.
Key responsibilities include assessing water requirements for various crops, developing irrigation layouts using CAD and GIS software, selecting appropriate irrigation technologies (drip, sprinkler, center pivot, etc.), and overseeing the installation and operation of systems. The engineer will also monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal water use efficiency while complying with environmental and regulatory standards.
Candidates should have strong knowledge of soil science, hydraulics, water resource management, and agricultural best practices. Experience with smart irrigation technologies and climate-resilient farming techniques is highly valued.
