Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated and technically skilled Agricultural Soil Systems Engineer to lead and support soil management and land-use optimization projects in Dubai, UAE. The role involves designing, implementing, and monitoring soil systems that enhance agricultural productivity, environmental sustainability, and efficient land utilization in arid and semi-arid conditions.
Key responsibilities include assessing soil properties, evaluating land suitability for crops, designing soil amendment and drainage solutions, and recommending precision soil management strategies. The engineer will work closely with agronomists, irrigation specialists, and farmers to improve soil health through integrated nutrient management, erosion control, and soil conservation practices.
You will conduct on-site soil surveys, utilize GIS and soil mapping tools, and apply modern soil modeling techniques to support sustainable farm planning. Additionally, the role requires the preparation of technical reports, compliance with UAE agricultural regulations, and participation in research or development projects focused on soil innovation.
The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of soil mechanics, agricultural systems, and regional soil challenges, particularly in desert and saline environments. This is a key position for advancing soil sustainability and food security initiatives in the Dubai agricultural sector.
