Job Description:
The Building Caretaker in Al Ain is responsible for the daily cleanliness, upkeep, and basic maintenance of residential or commercial buildings. Duties include cleaning common areas, restocking hygiene supplies, managing waste disposal, monitoring building conditions, and assisting with light repairs such as changing light bulbs or fixing minor plumbing issues.
This role requires good observational skills to identify maintenance needs and strong organizational skills to ensure routine cleaning is done efficiently. The caretaker may also liaise with tenants, contractors, and facility managers to report urgent issues or coordinate services.
Caretakers must be dependable, trustworthy, and physically able to perform manual tasks. They often work with minimal supervision and need to adhere to health and safety regulations.
