Job Description: Summary: The Chemical & Process Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing chemical processes and systems for various industrial applications. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze production processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, safety, and sustainability. The Chemical & Process Engineer will also conduct research, perform experiments, and analyze data to support process optimization and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and optimize chemical processes and systems for industrial applications. Conduct process simulations, feasibility studies, and cost-benefit analyses to evaluate and select optimal process technologies and equipment. Analyze production processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including researchers, operators, and maintenance personnel, to ensure seamless integration of new processes and technologies. Perform research and stay updated with the latest advancements in chemical engineering and process optimization techniques. Prepare process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and equipment specifications. Perform process modeling and simulation using software tools to assess process performance and optimize operating conditions. Conduct experiments, collect and analyze data, and interpret results to identify process bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues, and propose solutions. Collaborate with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations. Participate in risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate hazards associated with chemical processes. Optimize energy consumption, minimize waste generation, and promote sustainability in process design and operation. Provide technical support and guidance to operations and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operation of chemical processes. Develop and implement process monitoring and control systems to ensure product quality and consistency. Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to select and procure equipment, materials, and chemicals for process implementation. Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates.

Job Requirement: Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in chemical and process engineering, preferably within the UAE or Gulf region. Proficiency in process simulation software, such as Aspen Plus, HYSYS, or ChemCAD. Strong knowledge of chemical engineering principles, thermodynamics, reaction kinetics, and unit operations. Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in chemical process safety and environmental compliance. Experience with process optimization techniques, statistical analysis, and data interpretation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify process improvements and troubleshoot issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Ability to work independently and in a team environment, managing multiple projects and priorities. Knowledge of sustainability practices and environmental considerations in chemical and process engineering. Proficiency in technical report writing, documentation, and presentation skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to ensure accuracy in design and data analysis. Knowledge of process control systems and instrumentation.
