Job Description: Summary: The Chemist will be responsible for conducting chemical analyses, performing experiments, and providing technical expertise in the field of chemistry. They will collaborate with engineers, researchers, and other professionals to develop and optimize chemical processes, analyze data, and ensure the quality and safety of chemical products. The Chemist may work in various sectors, including manufacturing, research and development, and environmental engineering. Key Responsibilities: Perform chemical analysis and testing of substances, materials, and products using various laboratory techniques and equipment. Develop and validate analytical methods and procedures for quality control and research purposes. Conduct experiments to evaluate the physical and chemical properties of substances and assess their behavior under different conditions. Interpret and analyze experimental data, prepare reports, and present findings to stakeholders. Collaborate with engineers and scientists to develop and optimize chemical processes for manufacturing or research purposes. Provide technical expertise and guidance in areas such as material selection, chemical compatibility, and process optimization. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals. Maintain laboratory equipment, troubleshoot issues, and calibrate instruments to ensure accurate and reliable results. Stay updated with advancements in the field of chemistry and apply new knowledge and techniques to improve processes and solve problems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and quality control personnel, to achieve project objectives.

Job Requirement: Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or a related field. Strong knowledge of chemical principles, theories, and laboratory techniques. Proficiency in chemical analysis methods and instrumentation. Experience in using analytical instruments such as spectroscopy, chromatography, and microscopy. Knowledge of chemical process optimization and familiarity with process engineering principles. Excellent data analysis and interpretation skills. Attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Proficiency in scientific software and data analysis tools. Experience in a laboratory or industrial setting, preferably in a relevant industry such as manufacturing, research and development, or environmental engineering. Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards related to chemical handling and laboratory operations. Familiarity with quality control and quality assurance processes is a plus.
