Job Description: Summary: The Civil Engineer will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the construction and maintenance of various civil engineering projects. They will work on a wide range of infrastructure projects, including buildings, roads, bridges, and water supply systems. The Civil Engineer will collaborate with architects, surveyors, and other professionals to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and within budget. Key Responsibilities: Design and prepare engineering plans, specifications, and calculations for civil engineering projects. Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies to assess project requirements and constraints. Prepare cost estimates, project schedules, and construction budgets. Coordinate with architects, surveyors, and other professionals to integrate civil engineering designs into overall project plans. Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and standards in all civil engineering designs and construction activities. Manage and supervise construction projects, including contractor selection, material procurement, and quality control. Monitor project progress, resolve construction-related issues, and ensure adherence to project specifications and timelines. Conduct inspections and tests to verify the quality and safety of construction work. Collaborate with environmental engineers to address environmental considerations and sustainability in civil engineering projects. Prepare project reports, documentation, and technical drawings for client review and approval.

Job Requirement: Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Professional certification or licensure in civil engineering is preferred. Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, codes, and standards. Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering software tools. Familiarity with building information modeling (BIM) and construction management software. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex engineering designs. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively. Knowledge of sustainable and environmentally friendly construction practices is an advantage. Experience in project management, site supervision, or related areas is preferred. Familiarity with structural analysis, geotechnical engineering, or hydraulic design is a plus.
