Job Description: Summary: The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components in various engineering and architectural projects. They will work closely with the project team to ensure electrical systems meet specifications, comply with regulations, and are implemented effectively. The Electrical Engineer will also provide technical support, conduct inspections, and contribute to the overall success of electrical engineering projects. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and supervise the installation of electrical systems in engineering and architectural projects. Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and standards in all electrical designs and installations. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to integrate electrical systems into overall project designs. Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and documentation for electrical systems and components. Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates for electrical engineering projects. Perform calculations and simulations to determine electrical load requirements, voltage drop, and system performance. Select and specify electrical equipment, materials, and components for installation. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery and installation of electrical systems. Perform inspections and tests to ensure the proper functioning and safety of electrical systems. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues and provide technical support during project implementation and operation.
Job Requirement: Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Professional certification or licensure in electrical engineering is preferred. Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, codes, and standards. Proficiency in electrical design software and tools. Familiarity with building information modeling (BIM) and computer-aided design (CAD) software. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex electrical systems. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively. Knowledge of sustainable and energy-efficient electrical design practices is an advantage. Experience in electrical system design, power distribution, lighting design, or related areas is preferred. Familiarity with electrical system modeling and simulation software is a plus.
