Job Description:

The Acoustic Installation Technician in Vancouver specializes in installing acoustic materials and systems to control sound quality and noise levels in buildings. This role involves working on commercial, residential, and institutional construction projects to enhance soundproofing, reduce noise pollution, and improve interior acoustic environments.

Key responsibilities include interpreting acoustic design plans, installing panels, insulation, sound barriers, and ceiling systems, sealing gaps to prevent sound leakage, and collaborating with architects and contractors to meet project specifications. The technician ensures compliance with building codes and acoustic standards while maintaining a safe work environment.

Job Requirement:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; training in acoustic installation or construction trades is an advantage.

Experience: 2–3 years of experience in acoustic or insulation installation preferred.

Skills:

Knowledge of soundproofing materials and installation techniques.

Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.

Skilled in using hand and power tools.

Attention to detail and quality workmanship.

Language: Fluency in English required.
