Job Description: The Junior Electrical Engineer position in London, Canada, within the energy utilities industry, is an entry-level role focused on supporting electrical engineering projects and operations. Junior Electrical Engineers play a crucial role in the design, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems used in energy production and distribution. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the design and development of electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, and equipment installations. Support the implementation of electrical projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Conduct electrical calculations and simulations to optimize system performance and efficiency. Collaborate with senior engineers and technicians to perform testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems. Job Requirement: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and energy utilities. Familiarity with electrical engineering software and tools for design and analysis. Understanding of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve electrical issues. Effective communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work under supervision and willingness to learn and develop technical skills. Basic understanding of project management principles. Willingness to travel to project sites and work in various environments as required.
