Job Description: We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Meter Data Technologist to join our team in Brampton, Canada. As a Meter Data Technologist, you will play a crucial role in managing and analyzing meter data to support our energy and utilities operations. Your responsibilities will include: Collecting, validating, and processing meter data from various sources, including advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) systems. Performing data quality checks and resolving discrepancies to ensure accurate and reliable meter data. Utilizing meter data validation, estimation, and editing (VEE) techniques to ensure data integrity. Generating reports and analyzing meter data to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve meter data-related issues. Monitoring and maintaining meter data management systems and databases. Staying up-to-date with industry standards and regulations related to meter data management. Assisting in the development and implementation of meter data analytics and reporting tools. Providing technical support and guidance on meter data management processes and systems.

Job Requirement: Minimum of a diploma or bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. 2-3 years of experience in meter data management or a similar role within the energy and utilities industry. Strong knowledge of metering technologies, including advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) and meter data collection systems. Familiarity with meter data validation, estimation, and editing (VEE) processes and techniques. Proficiency in data analysis and manipulation using tools such as Excel, SQL, or scripting languages. Understanding of regulatory requirements and standards related to meter data management. Experience in troubleshooting and resolving meter data issues and discrepancies. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing and processing large volumes of data. Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
