Job Description:
We are currently hiring a meticulous and dependable Central Sterile Processing Technician for our healthcare facility in Berlin. This critical role ensures the sterilization, decontamination, and proper preparation of surgical instruments and medical equipment used across departments, directly supporting patient care and surgical safety.
In this position, you will collect, sort, and inspect used instruments, operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves and low-temperature sterilizers, and assemble surgical trays for scheduled procedures. Maintaining accurate records of sterilization cycles, adhering to infection control protocols, and managing sterile storage areas are key responsibilities of this role.
You will collaborate closely with operating room staff, nursing units, and surgical teams to meet daily equipment needs efficiently and ensure that all items meet regulatory and hospital sterilization standards.
