Job Description:
We are currently hiring a detail-oriented and dependable Clinical Cleaning Specialist to join our hospital’s environmental services team in Hamburg. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene throughout patient care areas, supporting infection prevention and overall hospital safety.
Your responsibilities will include deep cleaning of patient rooms, surgical theatres, nursing stations, and public areas using hospital-grade disinfectants and cleaning equipment. You will adhere strictly to cleaning protocols for high-risk zones such as ICUs, isolation units, and emergency rooms. Additionally, you will manage the safe disposal of medical waste and ensure the restocking of hygiene supplies in clinical areas.
As part of the infection control team, you will collaborate with nursing staff and infection prevention officers to ensure rooms are cleaned promptly after patient discharge and prepare areas for new admissions. Your work will directly contribute to preventing hospital-acquired infections and promoting a safe healing environment.
