Job Description:
We are hiring a compassionate and dedicated Live-in Carer to provide round-the-clock assistance for an elderly individual in a private residence in Cologne. This role includes helping with personal hygiene, dressing, medication management, meal preparation, mobility assistance, and companionship. The Live-in Carer will reside in the household and become a vital support system in the client’s daily routine, ensuring their comfort, safety, and overall wellbeing.
The ideal candidate should be trustworthy, patient, and able to build a respectful relationship with the client. Light housekeeping and organizing tasks related to the client’s care may also be required.
Job Requirement:
Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in elderly care, preferably in live-in positions. A caregiving or nursing assistant certification is highly desirable. Candidates must be knowledgeable about hygiene care, mobility assistance, emergency response, and proper dietary practices for the elderly.
Fluency in German or English is preferred. The candidate should demonstrate emotional intelligence, physical stamina, and adaptability to the household’s schedule. Respect for privacy and discretion is essential. A background check and references from previous caregiving roles are required.
