The Auto Body Rebuilder in Florence is responsible for restoring and reconstructing the bodies of agricultural and fisheries vehicles and machinery damaged through wear, accidents, or environmental conditions. This role is essential to ensuring the longevity and operational safety of vital equipment used in farming and fishing operations.
Key duties include stripping damaged body parts, fabricating or sourcing replacement panels, repairing frames, welding, and applying finishes that meet industry quality standards. The rebuilder will work with a variety of vehicles including tractors, trailers, utility vehicles, and marine equipment, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic restoration.
The ideal candidate will have strong skills in metalworking, welding, and surface preparation, with experience in rebuilding heavy-duty agricultural or fisheries vehicles preferred. Knowledge of industry safety regulations and material handling is crucial.
Proficiency in Italian is required, with English knowledge being an advantage for interpreting technical manuals and supplier communications. Attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship are vital.
