Key responsibilities include measuring and cutting glass to fit vehicle windows, windshields, and mirrors; removing damaged or broken glass safely; and applying sealants and adhesives to ensure secure and weatherproof installation. The installer will also inspect glass surfaces for defects and ensure all safety standards are met.
Experience with different types of automotive glass and knowledge of installation tools and materials is essential. The role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently both in workshop settings and on-site at farms, fisheries, or remote locations.

To qualify as an Automotive Glass Installer in the Agriculture & Fisheries sector in Rome, candidates must meet the following requirements:
Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in automotive glass installation, repair, and replacement, preferably with agricultural or heavy-duty vehicles.
Technical Skills: Proficient in measuring, cutting, fitting, and sealing automotive glass including windshields, windows, and mirrors. Familiarity with adhesives, sealants, and glass handling equipment.
Safety Awareness: Strong understanding of safety practices related to glass handling and installation to prevent injuries and ensure vehicle safety standards.
Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and maneuver heavy glass panels safely, work in varied environments including workshops, farms, and outdoor field locations.
Tools & Equipment: Experience using glass cutters, suction cups, sealant guns, and related installation tools.
