Job Description:

Job Description: BIM Coordinator
Location: Rome, Italy
Industry: Engineering & Architecture

We are seeking a skilled BIM Coordinator to join our engineering and architectural team in Rome. The role involves managing Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes and workflows across design and construction projects to ensure accuracy, consistency, and coordination among multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining BIM execution plans, coordinating model integration from architects, engineers, and consultants, and ensuring compliance with project standards and digital construction protocols. The BIM Coordinator will oversee model validation, clash detection, data management, and documentation control throughout the design and construction phases.

The position requires close collaboration with design leads, project managers, and contractors to support efficient project delivery and minimize design conflicts. The coordinator will also conduct BIM training sessions, troubleshoot software issues, and implement improvements to modeling procedures.

The ideal candidate should be proficient in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, and other relevant platforms, with a strong understanding of construction processes, digital workflows, and industry standards such as ISO 19650.

This is a strategic technical role offering the opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects and digital transformation initiatives within Italy’s evolving built environment sector.

Job Requirement:

Job Requirements: BIM Coordinator
Location: Rome, Italy

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or certification in BIM coordination or digital construction (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional, BIM Level 2 certification) is considered an advantage.

A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Building Information Modeling within the architecture, engineering, or construction sectors is required. Applicants must demonstrate advanced proficiency in BIM software tools, particularly Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, and AutoCAD. Familiarity with coordination and clash detection tools, such as Solibri or Tekla BIMsight, is also essential.

A strong understanding of BIM standards and protocols, including ISO 19650 and Italian regulatory frameworks for digital construction, is required. Candidates should have experience in developing and implementing BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), managing multidisciplinary models, and facilitating digital coordination across project teams.

The role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to train and support other team members in BIM best practices. Fluency in Italian is mandatory; English proficiency is a plus for reading technical documentation and collaborating on international projects. Availability for site visits and cross-team coordination is also expected.
