We are seeking an experienced BIM Project Manager to lead and oversee Building Information Modeling processes for multidisciplinary design and construction projects in Florence. This role is responsible for managing BIM strategy, implementation, and coordination across all project phases, ensuring compliance with digital standards and alignment with project goals.
Key responsibilities include developing BIM Execution Plans, managing model workflows, coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors, and ensuring accurate, timely exchange of digital data. The BIM Project Manager will supervise model integration, conduct clash detection, monitor compliance with ISO 19650 and other applicable standards, and support the transition from design to construction through digital tools.
The role also involves training team members, leading BIM coordination meetings, and reporting on model progress, performance metrics, and risk management. The BIM Project Manager will play a crucial role in driving digital innovation, improving collaboration, and optimizing project delivery outcomes.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or postgraduate certification in BIM Management, Digital Construction, or Project Management is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing BIM workflows within the architecture, engineering, or construction sectors is required.
Applicants must demonstrate expert-level proficiency in BIM software, including Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, and related coordination and collaboration platforms. Strong knowledge of international and Italian BIM standards, particularly ISO 19650, is essential.
Proven experience in creating and implementing BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), managing multi-disciplinary teams, and conducting model audits and clash detection is required. Candidates should possess strong leadership and organizational skills, along with the ability to manage schedules, resources, and technical coordination in complex projects.
Excellent communication skills are necessary for engaging with stakeholders, conducting workshops, and presenting model progress and strategies. Fluency in Italian is mandatory; English proficiency is an asset for working on cross-border or international projects.
Familiarity with project lifecycle management, data-driven decision-making, and digital collaboration in construction is critical. Availability to visit project sites and coordinate with regional teams is also expected.
