To qualify for the role of Brake System Technician in the Agriculture & Fisheries sector in Rome, candidates must meet the following requirements:
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in brake system inspection, repair, and maintenance, preferably on agricultural or heavy-duty vehicles.
Technical Skills: Proficient in diagnosing issues in hydraulic and air brake systems, replacing brake pads, shoes, calipers, discs, drums, and lines. Skilled in bleeding brakes and performing system adjustments.
Mechanical Knowledge: Understanding of brake components in tractors, trailers, harvesters, and marine transport equipment, including braking systems designed for rugged or off-road use.
Tools & Equipment: Ability to operate brake testing tools, diagnostic equipment, and repair tools efficiently and safely.
Education: Vocational training or a secondary school diploma in mechanical repair, automotive technology, or a related field is preferred.
Licensing: Possession of a valid Italian driver’s license (Category B or higher) is required.
Work Conditions: Physically fit to work in outdoor, rural, or coastal environments; able to respond to urgent repairs in the field.
