Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tire Technician to join our automotive service team in Rome, Italy. As a Tire Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional tire services to our customers, ensuring their safety and satisfaction. Your expertise in tire maintenance and repair will play a vital role in maintaining the performance and longevity of our customers' vehicles. Key Responsibilities: Tire Installation and Balancing: Mount and dismount tires on various types of vehicles using appropriate equipment and techniques. Ensure proper balancing of tires to minimize vibrations and enhance driving comfort. Tire Repair: Inspect tires for damage, such as punctures or sidewall bulges, and perform necessary repairs following industry standards and guidelines. Assess tire conditions to determine if replacement is necessary. Tire Rotation: Rotate tires at recommended intervals to promote even wear and extend tire life. Follow proper patterns and torque specifications to ensure optimal performance and safety. Wheel Alignment: Assist in performing wheel alignment procedures using precision equipment. Adjust wheel angles to manufacturer specifications to enhance vehicle handling and tire longevity. Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS): Troubleshoot and service TPMS sensors to ensure accurate tire pressure readings. Replace faulty sensors as needed and recalibrate the system. Customer Service: Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner. Provide tire recommendations based on vehicle specifications, driving habits, and customer preferences. Address customer inquiries and concerns regarding tires and related services. Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining tire inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and proper storage. Keep records of tire brands, sizes, and quantities for easy retrieval and efficient service. Workplace Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Properly handle and dispose of hazardous materials, such as used tires and chemicals. Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on tire service equipment to ensure proper functioning and longevity. Report any equipment malfunctions or deficiencies to the appropriate personnel. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, new tire technologies, and service techniques through training and professional development opportunities. Apply acquired knowledge to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction.

Job Requirement: Qualifications and Requirements: Prior experience as a Tire Technician or in a similar role within the automotive industry. Strong knowledge of tire installation, balancing, repair, and rotation procedures. Familiarity with wheel alignment principles and equipment. Proficiency in using tire service equipment, such as tire changers, balancers, and alignment machines. Basic understanding of TPMS and tire pressure monitoring systems. Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform tasks with accuracy. Customer-focused approach with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of quality. Familiarity with tire brands, sizes, and specifications. Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy tires and equipment. Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management. Fluency in Italian and basic proficiency in English (preferred).
