The Warehouse Forklift Operator in Florence supports the smooth operation of agricultural and fisheries logistics by managing the movement, organization, and storage of goods within the warehouse environment. Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment, the operator ensures timely and accurate loading, unloading, and relocation of products, including perishable goods, farming tools, packaging materials, and fishing equipment.
Key responsibilities include transporting pallets between loading docks and storage areas, performing routine equipment checks, and maintaining clean and organized storage spaces. The role also involves preparing orders for shipment, checking load accuracy, and supporting inventory management by updating records or scanning items as needed. Ensuring adherence to workplace safety standards and hygiene regulations—especially those related to food storage and processing—is critical.
