We are looking for a qualified Wheel Technician to join our team in Florence, focusing on agricultural and fisheries machinery and vehicles. This role is crucial for ensuring that wheels and tires on tractors, harvesters, fishing boats, and other equipment are properly maintained, balanced, and aligned to maximize performance and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect wheels, tires, rims, and related components for wear, damage, or defects.
Perform wheel mounting, dismounting, balancing, and alignment using specialized tools and machinery.
Repair or replace tires and wheels to ensure safe operation of agricultural and fisheries vehicles.
Diagnose and troubleshoot wheel-related issues in collaboration with mechanics and operators.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and replacements.
Follow safety procedures and environmental regulations during all tasks.
Provide advice and training to operators on proper wheel care and maintenance.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a wheel technician or similar mechanical role, preferably with agricultural or fisheries vehicles.
Skilled in the use of wheel servicing tools, balancing machines, and alignment equipment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Good physical condition with the ability to work in varied environments.
Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.

Technical Skills:
Proficient in wheel mounting, dismounting, balancing, and alignment using specialized tools and computerized equipment. Skilled in inspecting wheels, tires, and rims for defects or wear. Knowledge of different types of tires and wheels used in agricultural and fisheries environments is an advantage.
Physical Abilities:
Good physical fitness to handle manual tasks such as lifting heavy wheels, standing for long periods, and working in various positions. Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors, including in challenging weather conditions.
Attention to Detail:
Strong focus on accuracy and quality to ensure wheels are correctly fitted and maintained, preventing equipment downtime and enhancing safety.
Safety Awareness:
Familiarity with workplace health and safety regulations, including safe handling of tools and machinery. Commitment to using personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintaining a safe work environment.

Language:
