Job Description:
The Academic Development Officer in Qurain supports institutional teaching and learning enhancement efforts by coordinating faculty development, facilitating workshops, and implementing academic improvement strategies. The officer identifies training needs, develops support resources, and promotes innovative pedagogical practices aligned with institutional goals.
They may also assist with peer observation programs, mentoring schemes, and academic policy implementation. This position plays a key role in quality assurance, academic strategy deployment, and supporting teaching excellence across departments through evidence-based practices.
Job Requirement:
Master’s degree in Higher Education, Learning and Development, or Instructional Design.
Experience in faculty development, academic administration, or educational training.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and planning skills.
Familiarity with higher education frameworks and teaching effectiveness models.
Proficiency in workshop delivery, academic coaching, and learning analytics.
