Job Description:

An Ethical Hacker in AI Ahmadi is a cybersecurity expert who tests and evaluates the security of computer systems, networks, and applications by simulating cyberattacks. The objective of an ethical hacker is to identify vulnerabilities that malicious hackers could exploit and to recommend solutions for mitigation. These professionals are integral to organizations focused on strengthening their cybersecurity defenses.

Ethical Hackers perform penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, social engineering simulations, and security audits. They often work with security teams to test firewalls, antivirus software, encryption protocols, and employee access controls. In addition to technical testing, they prepare detailed reports outlining the weaknesses they discover, the potential risks they pose, and recommended countermeasures.

Their role is not only reactive but also proactive, involving regular assessments to stay ahead of emerging threats. They often utilize specialized tools and scripting languages to test systems and are expected to stay up to date with the latest hacking techniques and cybersecurity technologies. Ethical Hackers may also participate in red-teaming activities and compliance audits, working closely with IT administrators and risk management teams.

  • In-depth understanding of operating systems (Linux, Windows), firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs

  • Knowledge of exploit development, reverse engineering, and vulnerability databases

  • Experience with tools like Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, Wireshark, and Nessus

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think like a hacker

  • Strong report writing and communication skills
