The Fiber Optic Splicing Technician in Salmiyah specializes in connecting and maintaining fiber optic cables used in data and voice communication networks. You will perform precision fusion splicing, mechanical splicing, and cable testing to ensure low signal loss and optimal performance.
Duties include preparing fiber optic cables, using splicing machines, performing OTDR and power meter tests, documenting splicing records, and supporting both new installations and maintenance work.
