Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Technician for a job opportunity in Ahmadi, Kuwait. This role falls within the Science & Pharmaceuticals industry and involves assisting pharmacists in dispensing medications and providing patient care. Responsibilities: Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and maintaining inventory. Prepare prescription orders accurately and efficiently. Perform medication labeling and packaging. Ensure proper storage and handling of medications. Maintain patient profiles and confidential records. Provide information and assistance to patients regarding medications and healthcare products. Answer phone calls and address customer inquiries. Process insurance claims and handle billing procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Follow all relevant pharmacy regulations and guidelines. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and optimal care.
Job Requirement: Qualifications: Diploma or certificate in Pharmacy Technician or a related field. Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry. Sound knowledge of pharmacy practices, medications, and drug interactions. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in prescription filling. Strong organizational and time management skills. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in using pharmacy software and computer systems. Ability to work well in a team environment. Knowledge of pharmaceutical laws, regulations, and ethics. Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is advantageous. Valid Pharmacy Technician license or certification is preferred.
