Additional duties include minor repair tasks, reporting maintenance issues such as plumbing or electrical faults, and ensuring all janitorial supplies are maintained in adequate stock. The custodian plays a key role in supporting the health and safety standards of the facility by promptly addressing spills, hazards, or unsafe conditions.
Facility Custodians may be required to open and close buildings, monitor security alarms, and assist during facility events by arranging furniture or cleaning up post-event. The role requires physical stamina, the ability to work independently, and attention to detail.
