Job Description:
The 3D CAD Designer in Dukhan, Qatar, is responsible for developing three-dimensional models and visual representations of electrical and electronic components, systems, and assemblies. The designer collaborates closely with engineers, product developers, and project teams to bring conceptual ideas to life through detailed and accurate 3D models used for manufacturing, prototyping, and presentation purposes.
Key tasks include creating 3D models of wiring systems, control panels, PCB layouts, enclosures, and mechanical housings using industry-standard CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD 3D, or CATIA. The designer ensures designs meet functional, structural, and spatial requirements while complying with engineering specifications and Qatari standards. Additional duties include revising models based on feedback, generating part drawings and BOMs, and supporting product simulations or design validation processes.
This role contributes to efficient project planning and improves collaboration across multidisciplinary teams by delivering high-quality 3D visualizations that enhance understanding of complex systems and components.
