Job Description:
The Cable Assembly Technician in Madinat ash Shamal, Qatar, is responsible for assembling and preparing electrical cables and harnesses for use in various electronic and industrial applications. This role involves cutting, stripping, crimping, and soldering wires, as well as attaching connectors, terminals, and protective sleeving according to technical drawings and work instructions.
The technician must follow detailed schematics and assembly guides to ensure that all cable assemblies meet precise electrical and mechanical specifications. Duties also include continuity testing of completed cables, troubleshooting assembly defects, and maintaining a clean and organized workstation. Depending on the project, the technician may work on cable harnesses for automotive, aerospace, telecommunications, or industrial control systems.
