Job Description:
The Animal Care Attendant in Doha provides comprehensive care and supervision for pets and domestic animals within private households or estates. This role includes feeding, grooming, exercising, cleaning animal living areas, and monitoring the health and behavior of the animals. The attendant ensures that animals receive proper nutrition, regular exercise, and timely veterinary care appointments.
Responsibilities also involve maintaining cleanliness of kennels or cages, administering medications as prescribed, and assisting in training or behavioral management programs. The attendant collaborates with household staff to integrate animal care with the overall home routine and may accompany pets during outings or visits to veterinary clinics.
Job Requirement:
Education: No formal education required; relevant animal care certification is an advantage.
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in pet care or animal handling preferred.
Skills:
Proficient in animal grooming and basic health care.
Able to safely handle and exercise various animals.
Observant of animal behavior and health changes.
Good communication skills for liaising with veterinarians and family members.
Language: Basic English proficiency required.
