Job Description:
The Grounds Caretaker is responsible for maintaining the exterior grounds, gardens, and facilities of a private estate or residential property in Al Daayen, Qatar. Duties include cleaning outdoor areas, managing waste bins, sweeping pathways, trimming plants, and supporting the irrigation and lighting systems. The caretaker ensures that outdoor spaces such as driveways, patios, walkways, and fences are kept in good condition, safe, and visually presentable.
This role may also include monitoring outdoor security features, reporting maintenance issues, assisting in setting up for outdoor events, and supporting other household staff during deliveries or large-scale cleanups. The caretaker must be proactive in addressing hazards such as fallen branches, leaks, or unsafe conditions. Attention to cleanliness, safety, and organization is essential. The position requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a hot climate.
