Job Description:
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Umm Salal provides essential personal care and basic nursing support to clients in a private household. Working under the guidance of licensed nurses or family members, the CNA assists with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, feeding, mobility assistance, and monitoring vital signs. This role ensures the well-being, comfort, and dignity of elderly, disabled, or recovering family members.
Key duties also include observing changes in the client’s condition, assisting with medication reminders, maintaining hygiene standards, and supporting rehabilitation exercises when needed. The CNA works closely with family members and healthcare providers to promote safety and continuity of care, documenting care routines and reporting concerns promptly.
Job Requirement:
Education: CNA certification from a recognized institution; basic first aid/CPR training.
Experience: At least 2 years in home care or a private medical support role.
Skills:
Compassionate and patient-centered care approach.
Knowledge of eldercare and hygiene practices.
Basic understanding of health monitoring.
Good recordkeeping and communication.
Language: Basic proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus.
