Job Description:
We are hiring a Tanker Truck Driver to transport liquid and bulk materials across industrial and commercial sites in and around Barcelona. This role involves long and short hauls with a focus on safe handling of liquid freight. You will be responsible for vehicle checks, loading/unloading liquids using pumps or hoses, and maintaining route logs.
You will also monitor tank pressure, seal valves, and respond quickly to any safety alerts during transport. Your professionalism and attention to safety protocols are crucial as you will handle sensitive or regulated materials, including chemicals or food-grade liquids depending on the route.
Job Requirement:
Applicants must hold a valid tanker endorsement and commercial driver’s license. You should have at least 3 years of driving experience with tankers or other specialized freight. Understanding of hazardous material handling, pump systems, and pressure monitoring equipment is necessary.
Spanish fluency is required for daily communication and paperwork. A clean driving record and willingness to comply with DOT and ADR regulations is a must. Candidates should be comfortable with overnight trips, follow all loading instructions precisely, and maintain strict safety and cleanliness standards.
