An Antique Furniture Restorer in Zurich is responsible for preserving and restoring historical and valuable furniture pieces using specialized restoration techniques. Job Requirement:
Degree or certification in Furniture Restoration, Fine Woodworking, or related field
Expertise in antique styles and historical furniture periods
Skilled in hand tools, joinery, and restoration techniques
Knowledge of wood species, finishes, and materials
Experience with surface treatments, staining, and varnishing
Familiarity with Swiss and European furniture heritage
Ability to assess and document damage accurately
Proficiency in reupholstery and fabric restoration

Knowledge of conservation ethics and practices
Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
Ability to read and interpret restoration briefs
