Job Description:
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Aquaculture Farmhand to support daily operations at an aquaculture facility in Dubai, UAE. This role involves assisting in the care, feeding, and maintenance of fish or other aquatic species to ensure optimal health and productivity in a controlled farming environment.
Key responsibilities include feeding aquatic stock, cleaning tanks and nets, monitoring water quality and environmental conditions, and assisting with stocking, grading, and harvesting activities. The farmhand will also help with facility upkeep, minor equipment maintenance, and accurate logging of stock health and growth rates.
The ideal candidate is physically fit, detail-oriented, and eager to work in a hands-on, outdoor environment. Previous experience in aquaculture, fisheries, or animal care is an asset but not required, as training will be provided. This role requires comfort with working in water and around live aquatic animals.
As part of a team, the Aquaculture Farmhand plays a critical role in supporting the sustainable production of seafood in the UAE. The role may involve early morning shifts, weekend duties, and working in varying weather conditions, making a strong work ethic and flexibility essential.
