Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Biohazard Disposal Specialist to join our healthcare team in Dubai. This critical role involves the safe handling, storage, and disposal of biohazardous materials, including bodily fluids, sharps, pharmaceuticals, and other infectious waste. The Biohazard Disposal Specialist will ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, and will play an essential role in minimizing risks associated with dangerous materials.
The specialist will be responsible for identifying and segregating biohazardous waste, properly labeling and packaging materials for transportation, and ensuring that all protocols are followed throughout the disposal process. The position requires managing the storage and transport of biohazardous materials to licensed disposal facilities, and maintaining accurate records of all waste management activities for compliance purposes.
Additionally, the Biohazard Disposal Specialist will work closely with the infection control team to develop, implement, and maintain safe biohazard disposal practices. The role demands a strong knowledge of safety regulations, as well as the ability to work with hazardous materials and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
This is a physically demanding role that requires a high level of attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
