Job Description:
We are hiring a qualified Biomedical Equipment Specialist to oversee the installation, maintenance, and lifecycle management of clinical and laboratory equipment in Sharjah. This role involves advanced-level troubleshooting, preventive maintenance scheduling, performance testing, and calibration of complex medical systems used across multiple healthcare departments.
As part of the biomedical engineering team, the specialist will also assist with procurement decisions, compliance audits, risk assessments, and asset tracking. They must ensure that equipment functions at peak performance while meeting local and international regulatory standards such as ISO, JCI, or HAAD/DHA/MOH compliance.
The position requires collaboration with OEM vendors, clinicians, and facility managers to resolve technical issues and implement best practices in equipment usage and maintenance. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and software components of medical devices.
