Job Description: Summary: The position of Biomedical Engineer in Abu Dhabi, UAE, within the Engineering & Manufacturing industry, involves applying engineering principles and technical expertise to the field of healthcare and medicine. The role primarily focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining medical equipment and devices, as well as implementing advanced technological solutions for healthcare facilities. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop medical devices: Conduct research, analyze user needs, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to design and develop innovative medical devices and equipment that meet industry standards and regulatory requirements. Equipment maintenance and repair: Oversee the maintenance, calibration, and repair of medical equipment, ensuring their optimal functioning and compliance with safety and quality standards. Technological implementation: Identify and implement advanced technological solutions in healthcare settings, such as telemedicine, artificial intelligence, robotics, and data analytics, to enhance patient care, diagnostics, and treatment. Quality control and testing: Perform rigorous testing, validation, and quality control procedures on medical devices and equipment to ensure their reliability, accuracy, and safety. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams: Work closely with healthcare professionals, scientists, technicians, and manufacturers to collaborate on projects, share knowledge, and integrate engineering solutions with medical practices. Regulatory compliance: Stay updated with industry regulations, standards, and guidelines, and ensure adherence to local and international regulations when designing, developing, and implementing medical devices. Training and support: Provide training and support to healthcare staff regarding the proper use, maintenance, and troubleshooting of medical equipment and devices.

Job Requirement: Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's or master's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field. Solid understanding of engineering principles, medical sciences, and human anatomy. Proficiency in using CAD software for designing and prototyping medical devices. Familiarity with medical equipment standards, such as ISO 13485 and FDA regulations. Knowledge of advanced technologies in healthcare, such as telemedicine, AI, and robotics. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in interdisciplinary teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
