Job Description: Summary: The Chemist position in Dubai, UAE, within the Engineering & Manufacturing industry, involves conducting chemical analysis, developing and improving processes, and ensuring product quality and compliance. The role primarily focuses on applying chemical principles and techniques to support engineering and manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities: Chemical analysis: Perform chemical tests and analysis to evaluate raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods. Utilize laboratory equipment and techniques to determine chemical composition, purity, and quality. Process development and optimization: Develop and optimize chemical processes for manufacturing operations. Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency enhancement, and cost reduction. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process modifications and evaluate their impact. Quality control: Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure product consistency and compliance with specifications and standards. Conduct routine quality checks, perform data analysis, and make recommendations for corrective actions to maintain product quality. Research and development: Participate in research and development activities to innovate and improve existing products or develop new products. Collaborate with engineers and scientists to optimize product performance, enhance functionality, and explore new applications. Safety and regulatory compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Properly handle and dispose of hazardous chemicals and waste materials. Documentation and reporting: Maintain accurate records of experiments, test results, and procedures. Prepare technical reports, summaries, and documentation for internal use and regulatory compliance. Equipment maintenance and calibration: Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment. Ensure equipment is properly functioning and adhere to laboratory safety protocols. Collaboration and teamwork: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, researchers, and production personnel, to achieve project goals. Share knowledge, provide technical support, and contribute to team efforts.

Job Requirement: Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's or master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Strong knowledge of chemical principles, laboratory techniques, and analytical instrumentation. Familiarity with chemical process optimization and quality control methodologies. Understanding of safety procedures and regulatory requirements related to chemical handling and disposal. Analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret and analyze chemical data and troubleshoot issues. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment. Proficiency in laboratory software and data analysis tools. Experience with chemical analysis techniques, such as chromatography and spectroscopy, is advantageous. Knowledge of chemical manufacturing processes and industrial chemistry is beneficial. Professional certifications related to laboratory safety or chemical analysis are advantageous.
