Job Description: Summary: The position of Chemical Engineer in Abu Dhabi, UAE, within the Engineering & Manufacturing industry, involves utilizing chemical engineering principles and expertise to design, develop, and optimize processes in various industrial settings. The role primarily focuses on improving efficiency, safety, and sustainability while ensuring the production of high-quality chemical products. Key Responsibilities: Process design and optimization: Design and optimize chemical processes, including equipment selection, material flow, and reaction kinetics, to maximize productivity, efficiency, and safety while minimizing environmental impact. Troubleshooting and problem-solving: Identify and resolve process-related issues, such as equipment malfunctions, quality control deviations, and production inefficiencies, through data analysis, experimentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Process safety management: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards by conducting risk assessments, implementing preventive measures, and participating in process safety audits to prevent accidents and protect personnel and the environment. Quality control and assurance: Develop and implement quality control procedures to monitor and maintain product quality throughout the production process, ensuring adherence to specifications and standards. Research and development: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in chemical engineering, conduct research to explore innovative technologies and processes, and apply findings to improve existing processes or develop new products. Environmental sustainability: Evaluate the environmental impact of chemical processes, implement strategies to minimize waste generation, optimize resource utilization, and develop sustainable practices to support the organization's environmental goals. Collaboration and project management: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including chemists, technicians, and operations personnel, to coordinate and execute projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and meeting performance targets.

Job Requirement: Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's or master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field. Strong knowledge of chemical engineering principles, thermodynamics, and process design. Proficiency in process simulation software, such as Aspen Plus or HYSYS. Familiarity with safety regulations and standards, such as OSHA and NFPA. Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and optimize processes. Knowledge of quality control procedures and statistical analysis methods. Understanding of environmental regulations and sustainability practices. Excellent communication and project management skills.
