We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Livestock Farmer to manage the day-to-day care and breeding of livestock, ensuring high standards of animal welfare, productivity, and sustainability. The successful candidate will be responsible for feeding, monitoring health, maintaining housing facilities, and contributing to the efficient operation of livestock farming activities in accordance with UAE agricultural regulations and environmental standards.
Oversee the care, feeding, breeding, and general welfare of livestock such as cattle, sheep, goats, and poultry.
Monitor animal health and behavior; administer medication or coordinate with veterinary professionals as needed.
Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment used in livestock operations.
Maintain clean, safe, and hygienic conditions in animal housing and handling areas.
Record and report data on livestock production, breeding, and health.
Assist with seasonal activities such as shearing, milking, and birthing.
Manage feed inventories and assist with purchasing and budgeting needs.
Follow biosecurity protocols to prevent disease spread and contamination.
Support sustainable and environmentally sound farming practices in line with UAE agriculture initiatives.
Proven experience in livestock farming or a related agricultural field.
Knowledge of animal husbandry, nutrition, and farm equipment.
Physical stamina and ability to work in outdoor and rural environments.
Strong observation, record-keeping, and problem-solving skills.
Basic understanding of UAE agricultural laws and climate-related challenges (preferred).
Ability to work independently or as part of a farm team.
