Job Description: We are currently seeking experienced and skilled Iron Workers to join our team in Toronto, Canada. As an Iron Worker, you will be responsible for the construction, installation, and maintenance of iron and steel structures used in industrial machinery and heavy equipment. Your expertise in working with structural steel will be essential in ensuring the structural integrity and stability of our products. Responsibilities: Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings to determine the layout and assembly of iron and steel components. Measure, cut, shape, and fit metal components using various tools and equipment, such as welding machines, torches, and grinders. Weld or bolt components together to construct or repair metal structures, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety standards. Erect and dismantle scaffolding, cranes, and other equipment necessary for ironwork activities. Inspect and test structures for defects, making necessary repairs or adjustments to maintain their integrity. Collaborate with team members, engineers, and project managers to ensure project requirements are met and deadlines are achieved.

Job Requirement: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional vocational or technical training in ironworking or a related field is preferred. Proven experience as an Iron Worker, with a strong knowledge of ironworking techniques and procedures. Proficient in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Skilled in using various hand and power tools, as well as welding equipment. Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions. Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials and work in physically demanding environments. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Valid driver's license is preferred.
